Steel Beams can perform a static analysis on simply supported beams with I-shaped profiles. The cross-section properties for rolled IPE, HEA, HEB and HEM profiles can be read from database or a custom welded I-shaped profile can be specified. The section classification is determined based on the chosen steel grade. For section classification 4 the effective section properties are computed. The static analysis yields bending moment, shear force, deflection and rotation diagrams.
